The RL2 pod cannot be reprogrammed when used with the Gigabit interface

Issue

When the RL2 pod is connected to the RL2, and used along with the Gigabit interface, the RL2 pod will not appear in RPProg. It will still be seen in zBusMon and RPvds and can still be used. The only thing the user cannot do is to program it. Note that the RL2 Base still does appear in RPProg and can be programmed.

Workaround

  1. Do not reprogram the pod (the microcode for the RL2 pod has never been revised)

  2. If you must program the pod, use the USB interface.

  3. If you do not have the USB interface, then call TDT Tech Support for assistance.
